1st Person, Costumed Historical Interpretation Training:
 
Your staff will be taught:
  • How to develop, create and implement a 1st Person Historical Interpretation programme.
  • How to perform in public.
  • How to research their character and the era they are portraying.
  • What costume to wear.
  • How to research and speak the language of the era.
  • Techniques in dealing with those difficult questions.
  • Appropriate movement for the era. 
We offer a one day crash course, a  two day medium depth coverage, and a three day full kit programme.
 
3rd Person, Costumed Historical Interpretation Training:
 
3rd Person Costumed Historical Interpretation is when your staff are in period costume and interpret the historical era without taking on a character and remain as themselves as they guide your visitor.
 
Your staff will be taught:
  • How to develop, create and implement a 3rd Person Historical Interpretation programme.
  • How to perform in public.
  • How to research the era and environment that they are guiding in.
  • What costume to wear.
  • Techniques in dealing with those difficult questions.

Tour Guide Training:
 
A interactive and bespoke programme, that deals with how to deliver and conduct tours, adapting your tour for the type of audience you have and delivering tours for children.

  • Using your environment.
  • Incorporating your audience into the tour.
  • Adapting the tour to suit the audience.
  • The tour guiding basic tool kit.
